The Como Community Council is dedicated to creating a vibrant, safe, welcoming neighborhood for renters, homeowners, businesses and other organizations. Our board and committees- made up of community volunteers- work to shape decisions that affect the quality of life for those who live, work, and visit our neighborhood.
Did you know that we are the only non-profit organization in Como that advocates for the neighborhood as a whole, connecting and bringing together residents, businesses, non-profits, places of worship, and schools? We organize Lake Como cleanups to remove trash from our regional park; host educational and social events in all four corners of the neighborhood; send an amazing weekly email newsletter; and much more. In 2022, our events and meetings engaged over 2,700 residents. Our goal for 2023 is to build on our momentum by expanding our reach throughout the neighborhood.

“Rick and I help deliver the meals and gifts with the North End and South Como Block Nurse Program. District 10 (Como Community Council) does a great job asking for donations to cover the cost of the meals at Christmas. Love that when members see a need in the community, we all can be involved.”
