The Argyle Street Trio is a dynamic vocal-centric ensemble comprising three versatile Twin Cities singers: Rhiannon Fiskradatz, Kristen Olsen Rodriguez and veteran guitarist Dale Dahlquist. Their diverse repertoire includes Western swing, Chicago blues, Big Band & Hot Club jazz, bluegrass, and a treasury of your favorite vintage rock and folk tunes. Featured artists include the Beatles, Mills Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Linda Ronstadt, CSNY, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.
Their snappy arrangements and rich 3-part harmony will have you tapping your toes and singing along – seated, standing or dancing. Their shows appeal to all ages.
One-Rob Band rose out of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 as a way to continue playing in a group during times of isolation in individual sessions dubbed ‘Rob’s Not Dead.’ After lockdowns ceased, Rob Stokes legitimized this group as a bonafide solo project, drawing on one-man band efforts like the self-titled albums McCartney, Prince, and Garcia. In 2021 Fly Free was released as a compilation of their 2020 recordings and by 2022 had been featured on the Grateful Dead’s social media. Rob can be found outside of One-Rob Band playing locally in the Twin Cities with his group All Good Company, Jim Hinkley’s Forever Young, and other various acts.
This event is still being planned. If you’re interested in helping plan or volunteering at this event you can fill out our volunteer interest form, come to our Neighborhood Relations Committee meetings (1st Tuesdays), or reach out to organizer@district10comopark.org.
