The Como Community Council Board is holding a special election to fill the Sub-District 4 board seat recently vacated by Ben Kowalsky-Grahek’s election to the Vice Chair seat.
- Sub-District 4 board seat (Between Snelling and Dale South of the BNSF railroad tracks)
To ensure inclusion on the mailed ballots, apply online no later than Monday, August 9. All renters, homeowners, and other residents age 16 or older who live in Sub-District 4, as well as authorized representatives from a business or nonprofit organization located in the sub-district, are eligible to run for the Sub-District 4 seat. Write-ins are allowed on the ballots as well if you miss this deadline.
To vote in the special election you must request a ballot online. You must live in Sub-District 4 to vote for this seat on the board.
- Before Tuesday July 10, you can request an email ballot that allows you to vote online, or you can request a paper ballot that we will send through the mail.
- After August 10, the only way to receive a ballot is to request an email link that allows you to vote online. We must receive your request for an online ballot by 3 p.m. on August 17.
The special election will close Tuesday August 17 at 6:45pm, shortly before 7 p.m. board meeting.
