The District 10 Como Community Council Board

District 10 is one of Saint Paul’s 17 neighborhood community councils. We represent the Como Park neighborhood, bounded generally by Snelling to the west, Larpenteur to the north, Dale to the east, and the rail lines south of Energy Park Drive to the south (map). The District 10 Como Community Council is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors elected by members of the community.

The District 10 Board of Directors is made up of 17 community members elected at our annual meeting in April. There are 2 seats from each of the neighborhood’s four sub-districts, 5 at-large seats, 2 at-large renter seats, 1 at-large youth (16-24) seat and 1 at-large senior (62+) seat. If you’re interested in joining the board you can fill out a board member application form and we will connect with you about the process.

The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every month. Upcoming meeting dates, times and locations are posted on the District 10 meeting calendar. Every meeting includes time at the beginning when community members can ask questions or address issues and concerns. If you have a specific topic you would like raise, we encourage you to contact us at the District 10 office in advance. All board and committee meetings are open to the public and community members are encouraged to participate.
