Congratulations to the Ueland’s, whose décor at 801 Lakeview Ave. W. was voted the winner in D10 Como Park’s Decoration Contest. 2nd Place went to Richard Zieman at 1064 Montana Ave. W., and 3rd place was Heulskamp at 1554 Albert St. N. Thank you so much to everyone who decorated and submitted this year!
The friendly competition is over, but you can still take a look at the two dozen houses that entered. We’ll keep the map on our website through the weekend, and post pictures of the winning houses soon!

Help us make Como SCREAM for Halloween! D10 Como Park is challenging our community to get decorating and find out who will reign supreme this year in the Halloween Decoration Competition.
Do you think you have what it takes to be the scariest house in Como Park? Register your home, apartment, or group by October 17 to be put on the Como Scare Map (embedded below). Then, get decorating! Residents will be able to view and vote on the scariest houses from October 22-28 (voting ends at noon on the 28th).
- Sign your house or apartment up by Oct. 17
- A map of participating houses will be available by Oct. 22
- Vote for best apartment and house Oct. 22 through the 28 (voting ends at noon on the 28th)
- The winner will be announced Oct. 29 in the newsletter.
- The winning house and apartment will receive a trophy, a lawn sign, a tasty treat, and bragging rights
- The top three most voted for houses and apartments will receive a lawn sign, a tasty treat, and bragging rights.
