June 7, 2023 Environment Committee Meeting

The Environment Committee typically meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm. All D10 Como Park meetings are open to the public and have space for community members to bring topics for discussion. This month’s meeting will be held hybrid in person at the Como Streetcar Station (1224 Lexington) and via Zoom.

Know Your Como: Call to Como Park Community Action

The number of people participating in the Como Park Cleanup events is progressively increasing, with each person giving the most valuable, most meaningful, and most precious thing possible – their time.

At our Lake Como Cleanup events, volunteers meet at the Pavilion to get tools, supplies and have a refreshment. Then they walk along the lake pedestrian paths or the shoreline and pick up trash.

On May 3, 2023, the D10 Environment committee welcomed Tricia Wherle, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation Volunteer Coordinator, to share about volunteer opportunities in Como Park and elsewhere.

Lawns to Legumes: Boulevard Habitat Site Host Applications

The Saint Paullinators are happy to announce that a second round of boulevard garden will be installed in the South Como Demonstration neighborhood.
