SPEAKER / DISCUSSION – Racial Equity & Environmental Justice
District 10’s Anti-Racism Work Group has been looking at our role in addressing racial equity issues across the District. This includes our mission and values, our internal processes, and our actions within the Como community. Each committee of the District is relooking at its policies and activities through an equity lens. The Environment Committee is just beginning this process. Racial equity and environmental justice – what does it mean to us, where are we at, and how do we address inequities across the Como community. This is very much a work in progress, and we welcome your input as we embark on this important task.
